I would like to use this release announcement and thank Fabrizio who probably read my last post regarding reporting bugs.

Thanks to his help we were able to nail a few issues with regards to windows installations and plugin conflicts. Everybody is welcomed to follow his example and share your problems and ideas with us.

This version fixes two bugs reported since release 0.1.4/5. Let’s make this simple – report bugs and we’ll fix them as fast as we can, OK?

Three days only after version 0.1.4 we are releasing 0.1.5. The reason for this is that we implemented a small (so we didn’t need to retest everything) yet influential change (which justified a release).

The change improves end user performance when auto translation is happening, as the page changes happen immediately following translation and before committing to the database. We were able to implement this change quickly thanks to following the progressbar changes in a few sites. Those who wonder about what the colors mean – yellow is progressing as auto-translations are received and green is progressing as results are being committed and cached to the database.

Your inputs on this version will be appreciated (as always).

Moments ago we have released version 0.1.4 into the wild. Although this is just a minor release, which didn’t change the end user interface. Lots of work was done on the backend and improving translators experience. Almost all the source files were changed during this release and we hope no bugs sneaked in.

Notable features for this release include:

• Support for eye-candy of progress bar as live auto-translation occurs
• History of changes can now be seen by translators
• Code was optimized and output (in translation mode) has been reduced by approximately 60%

This version adds a fix for supporting mysql 4.1. If the previous version worked fine for you there is no need to upgrade.
