Thanks for the great plugin!
But I’ve analyzed several sites that use it and noticed that it doesn’t translate structured data. And when checking through, halimbawa, the site https://developers.google.com/search/docs/advanced/structured-data, the result is shown in the original language. It would be great if this feature was added in one of the next versions.
Thanks again for your work.
Meta data is handled to some extent, I suggest you send me a list of specific tags that are not being translated and you believe that should be translated. I will try to add this to future versions.
I have been using Transposh for many years. Thanks for the great plugin.
Pati, I have one question about the security of the new version (1.0.9.3).
Currently, I’m using Jetpack Protrect to check the security of plugins.
So I get the following warning notice, does this issue really still exist?
・Transposh WordPress Translation <= 1.0.8 – Subscriber + Unauthorized Calls
・Transposh WordPress Translation <= 1.0.8 – Admin+ SQL Injectiom
・Tranposh WordPress Translation <= 1.0.8 – Usernames Disclosure
Hi,
The first two issues were fixed, and the third was never a disclosure bug, it is the same as disclosing poster names on posts (feature, not a bug).
Din – The issues were never relevant if you have only a single user on your site, and totally irrelevant if anonymous translation is off.
This does not mean there are no security issues whatsoever because there can always be things I am unaware of.
Hi, i dont know why the “Translation editor” is not working (Not able to edit the translation both the front end and the admin end.)
The backend never allowed editing of translations, just deleting. And the frontend should work, contact us directly via the contact form with details of your site.
when choosing the secondary language, and NOT logged in, the option shows ;I-edit ang Translation
thats not what i want any way to disable this?
In the settings tab change the “Who can translate” mga setting.
is it possible to translate paragraphs instead of single lines?
You can change the parsing rules, this will allow translating longer sections (even paragraphs, given there is no embedded html). Gayunman – this is not fully tested and will probably render some of your old translations useless.
And where do is set this?
also how do i delete /no show text that does not need to show in the translated version
Tested on SiteGround with several PHP versions that were not working before, all looks fine now.
Thanks for the fix.
Is transposh automatically translating pages for free? Are the translated pages can be indexed on google? I am currently using gtranslate and their price is really expensive. Im looking for some alternative and found this site. Wmpl is also another choice I am looking but they are using some credits system, which I find too expensive since I have thousands of content. Salamat!
Basically yes
Can you tell me were i can find the shortcodes
Hello,
Thank you for the wonderful updates. However I have an issue after updating from version 1.0.8.
I have enabled auto translate after post publish, but the Transposh box hangs on “Publication happened – loading phrases list…” without translating. Any ideas on this?
It was working fine on 1.0.8.
Hi, thanks for such great plugin. one issue i happened .
1. i have checked ” Allow translation of permalinks and urls”
but the urls still can not be able to be translated.
and i use yoast SEO plugin, meta description also can not be translated.
Enable url translation (experimental) ,experimental, will be improved?
thanks again for such great plugin.
Is there a possibility to translate the meta description from Yoast? The plugin translates “og:title” but not “description”. Or how can I change the code to bring the phrase from “og:title” upang “description”. Thank you for your time and this plugin!
My website has been built and I have added this plugin, but the content of the website cannot be fully translated, and only a very small part of the content can be translated every day. What should I do?
my website https://hw-alu.com/
This plugin is good so far and I can say this plugin is in another level. I have try another translate plugin for wordpress, but i think transposh is better and more simple.
But I hope you can add some desgin for dropdown with flag in site menu.
This is the example https://paste.pics/L7KX1
if you can do that, I think trasposh will be the one language plugin i will recommended for other people.
Hi, As a saw in one of the comments, the “Translation editor” is not working, Not able to edit the translation in the front end.
Hi,
Not enough details in your comment here, the backend translation editor is not meant for editing, just for removing bad translations. And you need to provide more info than just “not working”
