Quick question: my server has Opcache installed, active and working. Will a future release os Transposh support Opcache?
Opcache is not a user cache, but any user script cache that we are aware of (АТК, APCu, xCache) are supported.
I know this plugin since ~2010 but at first I went for WPML as I thought it was more professional… (not in the same league as Transposh, WPML is not automatic)
Never was I more wrong… WPML sometimes had important bugs (I was using it on a site with more than 20.000 visits a day) and once WordPress was updated with a new version, an unknown bug that kept my site offline was fixed by WPML in about 10 күн… I couldn’t afford such a long waiting time, as my traffic was mainly organic and Google is very serious about downtime…
Transposh is without doubt the best translation plugin, although it’s not perfect, it’s superb and well maintained.

One of the best free Translation plugins and in my opinion the best one.
There could be some improvements for example slug translation and some issues related to translating strings could be fixed.
This my favorite translation plugin.
Havent used it yet, but the fact that it recognizes Baidu is awesome. Not sure how good the quality of Baidu’s translation is compared to Google.
So its nice that it only uses Baidu for Chinese, and sticks with Google everywhere else.
